This is incredible!!!! I've have worn glasses since I was 12 years old and I am now 31. Before this procedure I pretty much couldn't do anything without either my glasses or contacts! But after the procedure on the way home I was shouting out license plate number, the following day I drove to the follow up appointment and was able to read off the 20/20 line with out a problem and I was able to read off a few letters off of the 20/15 line!!!! I would definitely refer Vision One to every one. Thank you to every one at Vision One!!!!!

I was a little scared when I when in to get my eyes done, but the Dr. put me at ease in no time. Overall the surgery too no more then 10 minutes for both eyes.
I'm very happy with the results. I was able to see clearly after resting my eyes 6 hours after surgery. Now a few days later and my vision is getting better day by day.
I would suggest anyone who's afraid of having eye surgery, they can rest assure that they will be fine. It really is not painful at all.

Great Choice I Made

It's been less than 48 hours and I'm very pleased with my results. Procedure had minimal discomfort and was extremely quick. I like that there's a 10 second countdown so you know it's almost over for each eye. I was only there half the amount of time they said I would be there for!!

I'm nearsighted and I was able to see the TV clear and clock across the room when I got home with just a little fuzziness. It continued to get clearer as the hours passed. My next day vision was 20/20 with a bit of fuzziness. It did make my up close vision blurry (just phone use and texting) which wasn't blurry before but that's been getting clearer. I have not experienced an itchy eye or dry eye either, but I am following the directions with all the drops. I'd say the hardest part is not to rub the eyes for me. But I can't even tell I've had anything done to my eyes and it's been less than 48 hours post op!

The only thing I didn't expect was my post-op next day appointment was not at the same Lombard location. I had to choose between Arlington Heights or Chicago. It's a very quick appointment so it wasn't worth paying parking downtown so I chose Arlington Heights. Easy enough to get to but not as convenient.

I did the Groupon deal and because it's a cheaper price, by no means did it affect the outcome. Very personable and great office staff and physicians. They make you laugh and feel at ease. So if you have no sense of humor, don't bother!!!!

If you want to be contacts and glasses free, choose Vision One as the one and only place for LASIK.

NO MORE CONTACTS

After receiving a groupon for Vision One LASIK Center I had to check it out, it is hard to pass on a deal like that. I had my initial exam and Dr. Brand told me I had an astigmatism. I have worn contacts for 15 years and no Dr.'s ever found this. Dr. Brand informed me what it is and assured me it will also be corrected with the Lasik procedure. He also found my contact strength was to high, which was causing me to have daily headaches. The procedure was just over a minute and it was done with minimal pain. My vision was still a little blurry after a month and I was concerned. I called the office and told them of my concern. They said I had dry eyes and to take lubricating drops and my vision will get better in time. I went in to see Dr. Brand, just to make sure. He confirmed it was just dry eyes(common in post-Lasik). He suggested what drops to use and to use it often. My vision is great, I'm so glad I don't have to deal with contacts anymore. I am so happy I made this decision. I would definately suggest in having this procedure done at Vision One LASIK center. Don't wait your vision is priceless...

20/15 Vision

I can't speak highly enough about Vision One Lasik! I was a bit concerned that they were offering a Groupon so I did my research and bought the deal! This was the best money I have ever spent. I found Vision One Lasik to be professional and extremely good with the patient. The information they gave prior to the surgery was extremely thorough and all post op treatment has been excellent! I am so thankful to never have to wear glasses again!
